They Sure Have Grown

Sometimes it's difficult to capture how much our children have really grown. When I was flipping through pictures, I found one of these pictures and was in awe to see how quickly Michael is growing. Our children truly are growing quickly!

Nina

We were so happy that Michael's Nina was in town for a couple of weeks. It was almost like old times where she would just drop in for a few hours. When she lived in town, she had her own key and would just come on in. Today I asked Michael, " Guess who's coming over today?" He excitedly responded, "Nina." We already miss Nina even though she's only been away a few days. Come back soon Nina! We love you and miss you!

Busy Weekend

If you've been to our home, you know we have one scary room. It was our guest room that somehow turned into a storage room. Recently we moved Nana into that room . So, this weekend Tony spent Saturday cleaning Nana's room. Tony was kind enough to invite my mom up for the weekend to help me with the kids. I wish I would of taken a before or after picture, but I forgot. You'll have to come and visit to see Nana's new room.

Here are pictures with Grandma. I love watching my mom with the kids. She gets on the floor with them and will read or get involved with whatever the kids are doing. Michael had my mom in his house and they were having such a great time.

One Sick Family

Our family is finally on the way to recovery. Everyone is healthy with the exception of Tony. This picture was taken of Michael after I explained when Mama is sick, she likes to rest on the couch and read, and that's what he proceeded to do!

My mom was here this weekend so I'll post pictures soon.

It's a Mystery

Tonight Michael did something he wasn't supposed to, and when Tony questioned him, he responded, "I won't admit to it." When Tony finished Michael's time out, he looked at me stunned and asked where Michael learn that. We know it wasn't us, and it wasn't television since we don't watch any, so all we can figure is maybe a chapter book we read to him.

Michael's Zoo

The San Diego zoo must have left a lasting impression on Michael because for a couple of days he was making his own cages. He made sure all his animals had food and water. Don't you love kid's imagination. If you can't tell, he turned a chair on its back.

Garbage Day

I never imagined how exciting garbage day would be around our home. As soon as we hear the garbage truck usually about a block away, the squeals begin, "The garbage truck." We race around looking for shoes and we run out the door. Michael usually madly waves at the garbage man and he usually blows his horn for Michael. It really is a big deal in our home. Who would of imagined? Not me!

Vacation Day 5

The fifth and last day of our vacation was another enjoyable day with another great surprise. My dad drove down to spend the morning with us. We enjoyed a lovely brunch together and Michael was able to spend some quality time with his grandparents. Unfortunately, we all brought back an unwanted souvenir, a nasty cold and cough.

Vacation Day 4

Day 4 brought special guests to spend sometime with us-my mom and sister. It was a joy to spend the day with them at Sea World. We all had such a great time.
