Deep Theological Discussion

When Tony drives the kids to school, Michael always ask him to play the CD on the 9 choirs of angels. He especially loves the part on St. Michael because it's his patron saint.  As a result, I hear this conversation: Michael starts, "Who is like God?"  He repeats it over and over. Nanni chimes in, "I'm God."  Michael, "No Nanni!  That's what St. Michael says."  Funny kids!

Matthew's Feast Day

Yesterday Michael and Nanni ran into see Matthew and joyfully squealed, "Happy feast day Matthew."  Matthew popped up from a dead sleep and shined a big smile to them. It seemed as if he knew exactly what they were talking about. We celebrated with a nice lunch, cake and a couple of gifts.  Matthew was excited when we sang him happy feast day. He clapped and clapped. We gave him a saint board book and an animated movie on the life of Mother Teresa. Of course, he is too small for the movie but I'm trying to build up our children's catholic library. So every birthday, baptism day, and saint's day they get a saint's DVD. Happy feast day Matthew!

Nanni's Haircut

Nanni loves getting her haircut and she really loves her usual place.  However, last time her stylist cut her bangs really choppy. I had just finished getting my haircut when Nanni asked if she could get her haircut too. I remember friends of ours gave us a recommendation. I plugged the address in the nav system and it said, "You have arrived at your destination."  Nanni's new haircut place is right around the corner from my place. The stylist asked who cut her hair. I can understand why, it was pretty bad. I did not divulge any information or incriminate anyone. One thing Nanni did say, "Mommy I do not look like a new girl."  The old stylist usually puts a clip and sprinkles in her hair.  When Tony came home, Nanni told him, "Daddy Miss A messed me up, so mommy took me to a new haircut place."  She's pretty funny!
