Worms

Today we enjoyed a fun day at the library and the children observed a red worm and night crawlers, another type of worm.   They enjoyed this hands on experiment.  The event ended with the children making their own clay worms. Later that night Nanni informed me that she wanted to be a scientist.  She told me that I could visit her office where she would have lots of ladybugs and butterflies for me to play with.  I was impressed!  We need more library trips like this one!

Funny Boy

Whenever I shower,  I always get my hair up in a towel. Today after Matthew's shower, he came out looking exactly like me with a towel on his head and another towel around his body. He wasn't trying to be funny but I know he was trying to copy me. I busted up and captured the photos below.

Swimming

Michael has been a cooped up chicken since he broke his wrist.  He went from having three hours a week of soccer to no physical activity.  Thankfully, as of today, he's now enrolled in swim class.  He loves it and it's an outlet for his energy.

Future Barber

Last night Matthew jumped on Tony's lap and asked, "Daddy to you want me to comb your hair?"

He must be into hair because the other night before bed, Matthew put gel in in his hair combed his hair about 15 minutes. He was so proud of himself.

Pure Joy

Nanni loves babies and asks us frequently for a baby sister.  She has even chosen the name, baby Ballerina.  I love Nanni's smile in this picture!

Pajama Party

Saturday the kids enjoyed homemade popcorn, kettlecorn, chocolate milk and a movie, "The Sound of Music."  The boys don't look so thrilled but they all had a great time.  The best part for the kids was staying up way past their bedtime.
