Mommy and Me

Matthew's primary teacher is out of town and the teacher who subbed is one of Matthew's favorite teachers.  He's been asking when she was going to be his teacher again.   When it was time to leave, he shook her hand and said, "You are pretty beatiful."  The teacher and I looked at each other. I told her what I thought he said. She called him back and gave him a hug.  He smiled.   

  He's wearing his halloween costume. 

One Fun Day

Today Matthew and I visited a zoo and park.  We had so much fun. Here are a few pictures.

Date

Nanni has been asking for a mommy date forever.  She loves time with the two of us together.  Today Matthew fell asleep on the way to pick Nanni up from school so we had a spontaneous date.  We went and had some drive thru ice cream. I really did not want ice cream but she begged me.  We enjoyed some quality time together and some yummy ice cream.

Matthew loves school and cries when it's not a school day.  Don't let him fool you; he's not ready for preschool just yet because he still wants me close by.  I wonder who will have a harder time when it is time for him to go to school.  I am guessing....me!

Farm

Today Matthew and I hiked to a working farm. The treat of the day was watching Luna get milked.  Matthew was mesmerized and curious how the mama cow nursed her calf.
